Tasting Notes
A big, bold Syrah with attitude and plenty of personality. Bursting with dark fruit aromas of blackberry, black cherry, black plum and raspberry preserves, the nose is layered with cracked black pepper, tobacco leaf and savory spice. As the wine opens, intriguing aromas of eucalyptus and rich tomato sauce emerge, adding unexpected layers of complexity. Rosemary, juniper and clove weave through its earthy, herbaceous character. The palate is concentrated with dark fruit, green peppercorn, chalky graphite and hints of black olive. Firm tannins take center stage, lingering long after each sip and dancing across the palate.
