Tasting Notes
Rich aromas of dark chocolate, all spice, pipe tobacco and cinnamon meld together with dark fruit notes of blackberries, marionberry and black plums. This full-bodied wine emits robust flavors of clove, tobacco leaf, red pepper and leather. The palate continues to evolve with fun flavors of fresh baked cinnamon rolls, blueberries and vanilla leading into a long and savory finish with lingering tannins and intense flavors of fresh cracked black pepper.
Method
A blend of Tempranillo from Numeral Mountain and Dick Mesa Vineyards in Entiat, with a splash of Tempranillo from Sugarloaf Vineyard. Hand-picked, hand-sorted fruit fermented in small bins. We aged this beauty in 25% new French and 25% new American oak barrels for 22 months and bottle-aged for 6 months in our cellar prior to release.
