Grilled plums, fresh figs, black cherries and cinnamon mingle together with pipe tobacco and savory leather. Robust layers of roasted red peppers, dark fruits and vanilla bean. Grippy yet integrated tannins lead into cedar, fresh dill, volcanic rocks and hints of citrus zest on the finish. This wine is great for pairing with your favorite foods! We recommend serving with steak, roasted veggies, burgers and baked pasta dishes with red sauce or manchego.
Method
A blend of Tempranillo from Numeral Mountain and Dick Mesa Vineyards in Entiat, with a splash of Tempranillo from Sugarloaf Vineyard. Hand-picked, hand-sorted fruit fermented in small bins. We aged this beauty in 25% new French and 25% new American oak barrels for 22 months and bottle-aged for 6 months in our cellar prior to release.
