Tasting Notes
Black cherry, fresh baked cherry pie, and sweet cherry pipe tobacco - this wine is a Cherry Bomb! Layers of dried fig, fresh dill, baking spices, brown sugar, dried leaves, cigar box, volcanic rocks and orange zest. The finish is robust with roasted red pepper and savory leather. This wine is great for pairing with your favorite foods! We recommend serving with paella, burgers, rib-eye and roasted veggies, baked pasta dishes with red sauce or cheese like manchego.
Method
Our fourth Reserve Tempranillo is from Numeral Mountain Vineyard in Entiat, WA. Hand-picked, hand-sorted fruit fermented in small bins. We aged this beauty in 25% new French and 25% new American oak barrels for 18 months and bottle-aged for one year in our cellar prior to release.
