Tasting Notes
Bold aromas of black cherry, blackberries, mocha, and black pepper, followed by silky flavors of black fruits, dark chocolate, coffee, and hints of pencil lead. The palate is weighty and smooth with dusty tannins and a long finish that reminds us of dark chocolate-covered cherries or cherry-filled pastry with a cup of rich coffee. We recommend cellaring this wine for a few years.

Our fourth vintage of Wise Man from Horse Heaven Hills was hand-picked from McKinley Springs Vineyard and aged in 100% new French Oak barrels from Seguin Moreau Cooperage.

Aging: 18 months in barrels
